RegioStars Awards 2016

Regiostars is an annual event held by the European Commission which aims to identify and disseminate good practices in regional development and highlight original and innovative projects which could be attractive and inspiring to other regions.
 
The Managing Authority, was selected as a finalist in the 2016 event in the category ‘Effective Management: Making a difference - managing differently’ for  work on simplifying the administrative and audit burden experienced by Northern Ireland's R&D firms. The project was one of 4 finalists in the category, along with 2 projects from Italy and one from Lithuania.
 
Many people attended the events and the Awards Ceremony to learn about the best practice projects.
